Short but not bad at all. Ending jumpscare definitely got me. Made a video on it.
Short and creepy. Jumpscare got me at ending. Awesome game!
Interesting game indeed. I really enjoyed the in. I can't say I was expecting that. Great stuff. Really unique. That said, if you get a chance please check out my play through. Feel free to like or leave a comment, I always appreciate that. Good work. I'll look into any other games you have, if you have others released. Thanks again!
Makes me miss visiting actual shrines when I was in Japan. Next time I go I really gotta think about taking a fishing trip.
AMAZING!! I never thought about being fish the other way around. What a PLOT TWIST!! I really thought that the old man was an evil duck demon 🤭
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!🥰
Short and Good!
Full Play No Commentary
Nice! Everything was pretty tame for the most part. Then the twist hit and I had about 2 whole minutes of silence where I was taken back by the element of un-expectation. Great job! Here's my no commentary gameplay vid.
Oh my, it was fun and I really enjoyed it, especially the ending :)
I lost social credit because of this game. Amazing.
game was really weird and creepy but really good knew that pond was cursed lol
Thanks for playing.
That superstitious dialogue lined up perfectly, thanks for the gameplay.
This was really good. I loved the way the graphics are done and it's a nice spooky short game.
I didn't play it with volume due to me not knowing how my new mic works! I made a video about this game in a 2 horror games video & it's the first game! The ending was pretty funny, I really enjoyed it! I read your comment about not revealing anything about the old man.. Ominous but if there's more, I can't wait!
It was awesome to finally see your gameplay! But we can't reveal any more information about the old man at this point.
Cool style, loved it, jumpscare got me cause I majorly did not expect it lol
interact being space confused me a bit, VHS tape thing hurt my eyes but that's fine cause a ton of games have the VHS filter goin on,
overall, favorite out of the 3 games I played in my video :D
Short and sweet and scary... (the second game i played 19:02)
This is why I don't fish. :D
very kewl lol scary fwish
I wasn't expecting that ending! Such a short and sweet game that really hit the mark! Great job!
Thanks for the commentary, loved your reaction to the ending!
I featured this in my video
Short, creepy, and a little silly. Nice work.
What a fun little horror game! I really enjoyed it ! Awesome work!
Bon jeu, merci ;]
Well I wasn't expecting THAT ending! Good job! (Games starts at 7:04)
Short and sweet! The end was amazing
Hey Blue Moon Games, thanks so much for making this game! The ending was extremely fishy (pun totally intended), NEVER fish in an abandoned shrine or you get a curse. Nice mechanics in a PS1 style game, I got myself a surprise at the last fishing spot and it was not a catch, what am I? A Pokemon??
Appreciate the feedback at the end, thank you and great video!
Comments below clip;I live in a land filled with Shinto and Buddhist shrines, so to see a desolate place like in this game, is both odd and fascinating. My granddad, a businessman, always found refuge in going to the country-side, get his rod out, and fish for hours on end.
In a weird way, this game made me think of him. Needless to say, the ending has nothing to do with the good man :o]
I sincerely appreciate the twist at the end, because I didn't see it coming. I tend to see a lot coming [at me]. You succeeded in fooling me, and that's something not many achieve. You did a lot, in a little space. Loved it. Kudos to all involved!
We never imagined lure could resonate with a player on this level, it is amazing to hear that our game allowed your to connect with your granddad. Really appreciate the feedback on the ending, thanks for playing!
@ Blue Moon Games,
A butterfly flaps its wings in the Pacific.
Next, a badass hurricane ruins New Orleans.
Life itself is complex, but the above condenses it into something comprehensible and much easier to understand.
You guys just focus on making great games, so men like me, have an enjoyable time playing them.
Or, in this/my case, return to some sweet memories of the past.
Enjoyment itself is immeasurable, and very difficult to express in mere words, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the lovely time I had playing 'Lure.'
Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect, it was better than anticipated! I really appreciate the style and for as short as it was, story objectives. Great atmosphere. Wish it was longer! Thanks for making it!
This was a neat short game with an interesting twist. The building up of the atmosphere in this game was well done, especially given that it was so short. Great job!
Good game! I thought the shrine and the architecture in the game was cool and I thought the ending did a good job of catching you off guard. The finishing element really distracted me and made it easier for me to be gotten by any potential scares.
